Smithsonian Museum has an exhibit on skateboarding

If you're in or near Washington, DC during June, head on over to the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History to see an exhibit about skateboarding.

"Innoskate is a major public festival that will celebrate invention and creativity in skate culture, and will highlight the contributions skate innovators make to society through demonstrations, hands-on education activities, public programs with inventors and innovators, and donations of objects to the national collections. This year, Innoskate includes documentary films, object donations, and a panel discussion featuring Tony Hawk and Paul Schmitt on the history and innovation in skateboarding. You can see Rodney Mullen talk about innovation in skateboarding—and have a little fun on the roof of the Museum—in this video."
